Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vilyge Lite, operated by Vilyge ("we", "us", or "our"). By using Vilyge Lite, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vilyge Lite. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have parental consent.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at jeremiah.r.us@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Vilyge Lite for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or our systems.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer any portion of the app.

4. Google Integration

Vilyge Lite offers optional integration with Google Calendar and Google Tasks. If you connect your Google account, you authorise us to access and modify your Google Calendar events and Tasks as needed to provide the sync features described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from Settings.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of events, tasks, and other content you create in Vilyge Lite. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to deliver the service to you and your family group.

6. Availability

We aim to keep Vilyge Lite available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

7. Disclaimers

Vilyge Lite is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vilyge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) Vilyge Lite, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States without regard to conflict of law principles.
